The River Annas is a river in the Lake District , Cumbria , England .
The River Annas arises on the eastern outskirts of Bootle from the confluence of the Kinmont Beck and Crookley Beck . The river initially flows generally in a south-westerly direction, but then turns directly west at the level of the Barfield Tarn before turning north when it reaches Annaside until it flows into the Irish Sea .
