The River Don is a watercourse in Lancashire , England . It arises as Black Clough southwest of the Lad Law from a multitude of small tributaries. It flows west and changes its name to Thursden Brook . After crossing under the Cockden Bridge , it changes its name to the River Don. The River Don flows into the River Brun east of Burnley .
