River Douce is a river in the Saint George Parish of Dominica .
geography
The River Douce rises with several source streams on the western slope of the Morne Anglais and at Giraudel ( Bully Estate ). The source streams run largely parallel to the north and also parallel to the source streams of the River Claire (Roseau) and arise from the same aquifers as the neighboring Ravine Edwin to the west and Canari River . The streams unite at Eggleston and from there turn more strongly to the west. At Reigate they form the Roseau Reservoir and flow into the Roseau River from the right and east at St. Aromant Estate ( Silverlake ) .
