The River Glenderamackin is a river in the Lake District , Cumbria , England . The River Glendaramackin emerges on Mungrisdale Common north of Blencathra . The river initially flows in a south-easterly direction, but turns north at the southern end of the Souther Fell in order to flow north along its western flank. At the northern end of the Souther Fell, it turns at the village of Mungrisdale in a southerly direction along the eastern flank of the Souther Fell. On reaching the southern end of the Souther Fell again, the River Glenderamackin turns west. To the southwest of the town of Threlkeld , it joins St John's Beck to form the River Greta .
