The River Roddlesworth is a watercourse in Lancashire , England . It arises at the western foot of Cartridge Hill and flows north. It flows through the adjoining reservoirs of the Upper Roddlesworth Reservoir and Lower Roddlesworth Reservoir . It first crosses the M65 motorway and then the Leeds and Liverpool Canal before flowing into the River Darwen on the western edge of Blackburn .
