The River Windrush is a river in England . The wind rush arises north of Tadington in Gloucestershire . It initially flows south before turning east of Guiting Power in an easterly direction. It then flows through Bourton-on-the-Water and turns there again in a southerly direction. The River Eye flows into it south of Bourton-on-the-Water . At the place Windrush the river turns again in an easterly direction and then first reaches Burford and then Witney in Oxfordshire . In Witney, the river divides into two arms, separated from each other by gravel pits, running parallel in a south-easterly direction and reuniting east of Standlake . The River Windrush flows into the Thames at Newbridge .
