The Rivière Godbout is a river in the Côte-Nord administrative region of the Canadian province of Québec .

The river forms the outflow of Lac d'Achigan in the mountains 50 km north of the coast of the Saint Lawrence River - estuary . It initially flows in an easterly direction, but then turns south after the confluence with the Rivière Godbout Est and flows into the estuary of the Saint Lawrence River at the municipality de village Godbout - 40 km east of Baie-Comeau . The river has a length of 95 km. It drains an area of ​​1575 km². The mean discharge at the mouth is 42 m³ / s.
