Rivière Hart Jaune is a river in the Côte-Nord administrative region of the Canadian province of Québec .

It has a length of about 45 km. It forms the outflow of the Petit Lac Manicouagan and flows in a westerly direction to the Réservoir Manicouagan . The Barrage de la Hart-Jaune dam is located at the outflow from the Petit Lac Manicouagan . About 10 km southwest of it is the Centrale de la Hart-Jaune hydropower plant , which was completed in 1960 and has 3 turbines with a total output of 51 MW. The hydraulic potential is 39.6 m. The hydroelectric power station was acquired by Hydro-Québec in 1986 .
