Rivière Kinojévis is a right tributary of the Ottawa River in the Abitibi-Témiscamingue administrative region of the Canadian province of Québec .
It forms the outflow of Lac Preissac on its north bank. The river first flows about 10 km north, then flows west, later south. It flows by less than 10 km east of the city of Rouyn-Noranda . It flows through the northern part of Lac Kinojévis and turns in its lower reaches to the southeast. After 140 km the Rivière Kinojévis meets the upper reaches of the Ottawa River , 30 km north of Lac Simard , coming from the north .
The Algonquians used the course of the river as a transport route between the catchment areas of the Ottawa River in the south and that of the Rivière Harricana in the north. The area used to be forested and logs floated down the river.
