The Rivière Pentecôte is a river in the Côte-Nord administrative region in the Canadian province of Québec .
The Rivière Pentecôte has its source on the Mont Gélifract mountain . It initially flows south, then turns east and flows north around Mont J'Y-Vois-le-Nord . The Rivière Pentecôte then turns south and flows towards the coast. 40 km before it flows into the Gulf of Saint Lawrence at Rivière-Pentecôte , the river reaches the 17 km long Lac Pentecôte , which it flows through in a southerly direction. The Rivière Pentecôte has a length of 125 km. It drains an area of 1971 km². The mean discharge is 51.2 m³ / s.
