Rivière Sakami is a 300 km long river in the Canadian province of Québec .

The river has its origin near Lake Joubert in the center of the Labrador Peninsula . From there it flows about 300 km in a westerly direction to Lac Sakami . It leaves this at its north-west end and flows into the Réservoir Robert-Bourassa, through which the river La Grande Rivière flows . Due to feed lines from rivers in the south into Lac Sakami as part of the Baie James hydropower project , the amount of water in its last section increases considerably. Here the Transtaïga route leads over the Pont de la Rivière-Sakami bridge and crosses the river.
