The Rivière Thémines is a tributary of the Manicouagan Reservoir in the administrative region of Côte-Nord in the Canadian province of Québec .
The Rivière Thémines forms the outflow of the Lac du Nord in the area of the Canadian Shield in the south of the Labrador Peninsula . It flows south. It flows through the Lac Le Cocq . Finally, it flows into the north bank of the Manicouagan reservoir. The Rivière Thémines has a length of 77 km. The catchment area covers 1533 km². The mean discharge is 34 m³ / s.
The name of the river is derived from Pons de Lauzières , Marquis de Thémines.
