The Rivière aux Saumons ( French for " salmon river") is a river on the island of Île d'Anticosti in the Gulf of Saint Lawrence .

The river has its source in the Parc national d'Anticosti on the northern slope of the range of hills, which extends centrally from east to west through the interior of the island. The river flows a short distance north, but then turns east and flows for a total of 60 km to Baie Broom on the north coast of the island. The Rivière aux Saumons drains an area of ​​365 km². The mean discharge is 8 m³ / s. At the mouth there is Rivière-aux-Saumons - a campsite and a landing strip.

The river name was mentioned in a book in 1904. The Rivière aux Saumons was mentioned in the bulletin of the Société de geographie du Québec in 1924. It is listed in the Directory of Rivers and Lakes in Québec in 1925.
