Rizwan Abbasi

Rizwan Abbasi , also Riz Abbasi (born before 1995 in Gorbals , Glasgow ) is a Scottish actor .

Life

Rizwan Abbasi, son of Indian parents, grew up in Glasgow, Scotland. There he attended Woodside Secondary School. His father left the family when he and his siblings were young. Abbasi was forced to earn money himself early on. So he carried out The Evening Times and collected ginger bottles for money.

He left school without a degree and wanted to join the Royal Navy. Instead, he worked in a clothing store in Edinburgh's Islington Market every weekend . After this time in Edinburgh he moved to London and in 1989 enrolled at a leading drama school, the Drama Center London . Soon after, he launched himself as an artist agent.

He had his first role in a television series on The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones in the double episode Indiana Jones and the Diamond in the Peacock's Eye ( Young Indiana Jones and the Treasure of the Peacock's Eye ). Abbasi then played the role of Kevin in the British mystery crime series Silent Witness on the side of Amanda Burton .

He also had a role in the stage play Diomidies at London's Royal National Theater and 1998 in William Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing (Engl. Much Ado about Nothing) at the Brooklyn Academy of Music Majestic Theater in New York .

He also played in the BBC Scotland Soap River City .

Abbasis had his first major supporting role in the movie Domino.
