Rob Barff

Rob Barff (born November 16, 1974 in Padstow ) is a British racing driver .

Career in motorsport

Rob Barff is an internationally known GT and sports car driver . In the 2000s, he competed in the 24-hour races of Le Mans and Daytona , as well as the 12-hour race in Sebring . He drove LMP1 and LMP2 prototypes in the American and European Le Mans Series .

Barff began his professional career in 2000 on a TVR Cerbera for Rollcentre Racing in the British GT Championship after having contested several races in Formula Ford in 1993. He finished the 2002 season with partner Michael Caine in third place overall. In 2011 he secured the overall standings in the GT Trophy UK Endurance Series and in 2015 won the A6 class at the Dubai 24-hour race . This placement, achieved with Matt Griffin , Jordan Grogor and Mohammed Jawa in a Ferrari 458 Italia GT3 , was third in the overall standings.
