Robert A. Jeker
Robert Arthur Jeker (born August 26, 1935 in Basel ; † July 4, 2012 in Bottmingen ) was a Swiss economic manager and politician ( FDP ).
Life
Jeker began his professional career as an apprentice at Schweizerische Kreditanstalt (now Credit Suisse ). From 1983 to 1993 he was President of the General Management. After leaving, he held numerous directorships .
As a militia general staff officer, Jeker was in command of the Basel Fusilier Battalion 97 and the 22nd Infantry Regiment, and 1975/1976 FDP district administrator in the canton of Basel-Landschaft.
