Robert Acquafresca (born September 11, 1987 in Turin ) is an Italian football player . He plays in the position of the striker and is currently without a club.
Career
society
Acquafresca, the son of an Italian and a Polish woman, started playing football for Turin FC . In 2005 he moved to Inter Milan and was loaned to FC Treviso and then to Cagliari Calcio . In 2009 he was sold CFC Genoa to Inter Milan as part of the transfer business from Diego Milito . After half a season at Atalanta Bergamo , he returned to Cagliari Calcio on loan in the summer of 2010. From July 2011 Acquafresca was part of the squad of FC Bologna , but was loaned again in early 2013, this time to Levante UD .
In January 2017, Acquafresca moved to Serie B to Ternana Calcio . After six months, his contract ended and he joined FC Sion . He played there for two years and has been without a new club since then.
National team
From 2004 to 2009, Acquafresca played for the Italian national U-teams ( U-17 , U-18, U-19, U-20 , U-21 ) and the Italian Olympic team. He was a member of the roster at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing and was used in all four tournament games. Having both Italian and Polish citizenship , he could have played for the Polish national team . Shortly before his 21st birthday, he decided to continue playing for the Italian Federation. He has not yet played an international match for Italy .
