Career
Allen came in early 1945, during the Second World War to Notts County , and came in the season 1944/45 to six in the transitional season 1945/46 to 15 appearances in the regional competitions of the Wartime League , mostly he made here with Aubrey Southwell the Defender couple. With the resumption of regular play for the 1946/47 season , George Robinson was preferred to the left defender position. There, too, he did not get beyond the role as a supplementary player, only one appearance each in the FA Cup (9: 3 against FC Hayes ) and in the league (1: 1 against Brighton & Hove Albion ) until his departure at the end of the season Beech. His football career was continued in non-league football at Bridgwater Town .
