Robert Bukvić

Robert R. Bukvić (born  July 14, 1980 in Berlin ) is a German entrepreneur and former basketball player of Croatian descent.

career

Bukvić, whose parents come from Zagreb  , won the German championship in the A youth with the offspring of TuS Lichterfelde . He was particularly promoted by Emir Mutapčić and played with "TuSLi" in the 2nd basketball league . In 1999 he went to the United States at Daytona State College ( Florida ), studied business administration and played with the basketball team in the NJCAA, the association of universities with two-year courses. In the 2000/01 season, the 2.04-meter-long winger made 27 appearances for Daytona State, recording an average of 7.3 points per encounter. While still a student, he founded an entrepreneur that sold homework and book summaries, but was forced by the university management to cease operations.

Bukvić went back to Germany and was in the 2001/02 season in the squad of the Bundesliga club Mitteldeutscher BC . In 14 Bundesliga games he averaged 2.9 points per use. His highest value in the league was twelve points in the clash with Avitos Gießen in December 2001. He moved to the Finnish first division team Porvoon Tarmo , for whom he scored an average of 8.6 points in 35 league games in 2002/03. In May 2003 he took part in a  training session in Atlanta in the run-up to the draft proceedings of the North American league NBA , in the same year Bukvić played in a summer league in Treviso, Italy . In the course of the 2003/04 season he returned to the second division TuS Lichterfelde in Berlin. In the spring of 2005, Bukvić trained with the Italian first division club Pallacanestro Reggiana , but he was not used in league games.

He set up a rental agency portal for apartments, services, everyday objects and events and became a shareholder in a voucher portal. In 2015 he founded a Berlin-based company that operates in several countries that rents out (communal) living and working space.
