history
The five-storey brick building from 1931 was built in a slightly expressionist way with the distinctive bay window on the corner of Marienplatz and the protruding ornate cornice according to plans by Paul Nehls in the style of New Objectivity (Bauhaus style). The office building at Schloßstraße 32/34 from 1928 and the residential and office building at Puschkinstraße 8 from 1934 also come from him. He uses a traditional north German brick, often in strips in a plastic brick layer.
In the renovated building there are offices of the Sparkasse and shops.
