Robert Burdy

Robert Burdy (born June 13, 1964 in Cologne ) is a German presenter and television journalist . He has presented the news program MDR aktuell since 2001 and the series Die Spur der Anhnen on MDR television since 2006 . He also works as an executive coach and author.

From the age of 18 he worked as a reporter before moving to RIAS-TV as editor in 1989 . He worked for the station as a correspondent in Washington, DC and reported from the USA and the Middle East . After RIAS-TV was absorbed by DW-TV , he became deputy studio manager in Washington and a correspondent for the English-language program section of Deutsche Welle . Since 2001 he has been part of the editorial team of MDR aktuell , since 2006 he has presented the series Die Spur der Anhnen and, from 2010 to 2015, the documentary series Der Osten - Discover where you live .

In addition to his journalistic activities, he belongs to the speakers ensemble of vorleser.net and in 2008 published the guidebook Das Pullunder-Prinzip at Buchfunk Verlag.
