Saúl Figueroa Albornoz

Saúl Figueroa Albornoz (born October 23, 1947 in Caracas , Venezuela ) is a Venezuelan clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Puerto Cabello .

Life

The coadjutor archbishop of Caracas, Santiago de Venezuela, José Alí Lebrún Moratinos , ordained him a priest on October 16, 1976 .

On November 10, 1997, John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop in Caracas, Santiago de Venezuela and titular bishop of Amudarsa . He was ordained episcopate on January 10th of the following year by the Archbishop of Caracas, Santiago de Venezuela , Antonio Ignacio Velasco García SDB ; Co- consecrators were Ramón Ovidio Pérez Morales , Archbishop of Maracaibo , and William Enrique Delgado Silva , Auxiliary Bishop of Maracaibo .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him bishop of Puerto Cabello on April 30, 2011 .
