Robert Hemfler

Robert Hemfler (born August 15, 1947 in Berlin ) is a former German football player.

Life

Robert Hemfler was born in 1947 in Berlin as one of four children of the self-employed Kurt Hemfler and his wife Hertha Hemfler. He learned the job of the pastry chef while he was successful first in his spare time and then full-time as a football player. In terms of sport, he was mainly active in defense for the then club Wacker 04 Berlin . From 1971 to 1974 Robert Hemfler was once Berlin champion and three times runner-up. From 1974 to 1976 Hemfler played in the 2nd Bundesliga and scored three goals against Borussia Dortmund , Preußen Münster and VfL Osnabrück .

After just two years in the 2nd Bundesliga, Robert Hemfler ended his football career due to a torn cruciate ligament in the game against Arminia Bielefeld.

In 1980 Robert Hemfler married his wife Erna and they had a son.
