Robert Hochbaum

Robert Hochbaum (born June 5, 1954 in Pforzheim ) is a German politician ( CDU ).

Life and work

After graduating from secondary school , Hochbaum completed an apprenticeship as an office clerk . Hochbaum was a temporary soldier in the Bundeswehr and is now a reserve officer ( Hauptmann dR). He acquired on the second-chance education first, the technical college and later the college entrance . He graduated from a university of applied sciences for public administration with a degree in administrative management (FH) . Hochbaum had worked for the Federal Employment Agency since 1982 and most recently headed the office of the Auerbach / Vogtland employment office from 1991 .

Hochbaum is a Protestant and has a second marriage. He has three children from his first marriage.

Political party

Hochbaum joined the CDU in 1983 and in 1985 also became a member of the Christian Democratic Workforce (CDA).

MP

From 2002 to 2017 he was a member of the German Bundestag .

Robert Hochbaum always moved into the Bundestag as a directly elected member of the Vogtland - Plauen constituency . In the 2013 Bundestag election , he received 48.3% of the first votes . He was a full member of the Defense Committee , the Joint Committee and Chairman of the Subcommittee on Disarmament, Arms Control and Non-Proliferation .
