Robert Horsch

Robert Horsch (born June 7, 1959 in Zewen ) is a former German table tennis player .

biography

Robert Horsch studied sports and geography at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and passed his second state examination for teaching at grammar schools at the Trier State Study Seminar.

Horsch played in the school, youth and junior national team and was a member of the A / B squad of the German national team from 1976 to 1981. So he came in 1975 in the international match against Italy (2 defeats), 1977 in Helsinki in the international match against Finland (victory point) and in April 1977 in Siehrshahn in the international match against India. He played in the 1st Bundesliga for the clubs SSV Heinzelmann Reutlingen , Eintracht Frankfurt and TTC Zugbrücke Grenzau . In 1979/80 and 1983/84 he was the best Bundesliga player in his position.

In 2005 the doctorate followed. Public Health at the University of Bremen . Robert Horsch is an author of sports books. He is voluntary in the organization management of table tennis at youth training for the Olympics and formerly (since July 1998) as the university representative of the German Table Tennis Federation (DTTB) . He was a table tennis trainer in Germany and Luxembourg. Robert Horsch is director of studies and regional sports advisor in Rhineland-Palatinate. He works as a lecturer for the educational state institute Rhineland-Palatinate in teacher training and advanced training.
