Robert IV (Dreux)

Robert IV (* 1241 ; † November 12, 1282 ) was a count of Dreux and Braine . He was a son of Count Johann I von Dreux and his wife, Marie von Bourbon.

In 1260 Robert married Beatrix, Countess of Montfort-l'Amaury and the mistress of Rochefort , heiress of John I of Montfort . Your children were:

Robert took part in the crusade of King Louis IX in 1270 . to Africa ( Seventh Crusade ). In 1272 he took part in the campaign of King Philip III. against Count Roger Bernard III. from Foix . After his death, he was buried in the Saint-Yved Abbey in Braine .
