Robert Küng

Robert Küng (born March 1, 1956 , resident in Wolhusen and Willisau ) is a Swiss politician ( FDP ). From 2011 to 2019 he was a member of the government of the Canton of Lucerne and headed the building, environmental and economic departments.

biography

Before taking office as a member of the government, Küng was an entrepreneur in the building services industry. From 2000 to 2011 he was city ​​president of Willisau and from 2007 to 2011 cantonal councilor . In 2011, Küng was elected to the Lucerne government council, where he took over the building, environmental and economic departments. In 2018 he announced that he would no longer run for office. His successor was Fabian Peter in 2019 .

Küng is married, has two children and lives in Willisau.
