Robert Koch (born March 17, 1976 in Tatabánya ) is a Hungarian volleyball player .

Career

Robert Koch began with volleyball in his home country of Hungary , where he was three times Hungarian champion and four times cup winner between 1994 and 2000. Then the player switched to the German Bundesliga club VfB Friedrichshafen , with whom he was three times German champion and many times DVV cup winner . During this time he was number one among the players in the rankings of German volleyball . The Hungarian national player played in numerous European clubs in his successful career and achieved numerous national and international titles and top placements. In the 2012/13 season Robert Koch played for the top Austrian club Hypo Tirol Innsbruck . Since the 2015/16 season he has been active as a coach for the Austrian second division men's team of SSV HIB Liebenau .
