Robert Kondo

Robert Kondo is an animator and filmmaker of animated films , which at the Academy Awards in 2015 for his work in The Dam Keeper along with Daisuke Tsutsumi for the Oscar in the category of animated Best Short Film was nominated. In addition, the two received awards for the film at various festivals. Kondo is a former art director at Pixar Animation Studios . Born in Southern California , he studied illustration at the Art Center College of Design inPasadena , California . After graduating in 2002, he worked at the former Angel Studios before joining Pixar. In 2014, Kondo founded the Tonko House film studio together with Tsutsumi .
