Robert Ryszard Kupiecki (* 1967 in Warsaw ) is a Polish diplomat and politician (non-party).

Life

Kupiecki received a PhD in Political Science from Warsaw University . In 1994 he started working for the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs . From 2008 to 2012 he was Ambassador to the United States . From 2012 to 2015 he was Deputy Minister of Defense as the successor to Zbigniew Włosowicz .

Włosowicz and Kupiecki are among the 89 people from the European Union against whom Moscow imposed an entry ban in 2015 in connection with the Crimean crisis .

Robert Kupiecki speaks Polish, English and Russian.
