Robert Labhardt

Robert Labhardt (* 1947 ) is a Swiss German scholar and historian .

Live and act

Robert Labhardt studied German , general and Swiss history and art history at the universities in Basel and Munich from 1966–1975 . In 1976 he received his doctorate in Basel with a thesis on Heinrich von Kleist . In 1977 he obtained his senior teacher diploma at the Basel teacher training college and taught at high schools in Basel. From 1978/1979 until his retirement in 2010 he was the main teacher for German and history at the Muttenz high school . Since 2002 he has also been a lecturer in history didactics at the University of Education of the Northwestern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences. He chairs the Basel History Association, which was founded in 2012 and provides ideal support for the production and publication of a large-scale city history.
