Robert Musiol
Robert Paul Johann Musiol (born January 14, 1846 in Breslau , † October 19, 1903 in Fraustadt near Posen ) was a German music writer, music teacher and composer.
life and work
Musiol studied at the teacher training college in Liebenthal (today: Lubomierz, Silesia).
Musiol published the following musical works, among others:
- Julius Schuberth's fully explanatory foreign dictionary of all expressions used in music: together with a short introduction to the elementary theory of music (1877)
- Catechism of the History of Music (2nd edition 1888)
- Tonger's Konversationslexikon der Tonkunst (1881–1885, as editor)
- Music dictionary (1890)
