Robert Parzer

Robert Parzer (born November 8, 1943 ; † January 12, 2015 ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and a member of the Vienna City Council and State Parliament .

education and profession

Robert Parzer attended elementary and middle school in Vienna. After four years in middle school, he switched to the Federal Trade School in Mödling , where he graduated from the technical college for construction and cabinet making after three years. In 1963 he did his military service and subsequently stayed with the armed forces . During this time he made up his Matura and in 1969 disarmed as an ensign in the reserve. In February 1969 he joined Creditanstalt , where he became an authorized signatory in 1986and in 1999 was promoted to chief authorized officer and department head. In addition to his professional career, Parzer continued his military career and was retired as a lieutenant in the reserve in September 1978; In 1983 he was promoted to lieutenant in the reserve.

politics

Parzer was a works council and ÖAAB deputy at Creditanstalt. He was also involved in district politics and was section chairman in Essling . Since November 1998 he was ÖVP district party chairman in the 22nd district of Donaustadt . Parzer was a member of the Vienna City Council and State Parliament and a member of the Environment Committee in the 18th legislative period.

Private

Robert Parzer married his wife Luzia in 1971 and had two daughters. He died on January 12, 2015 and was buried in the Esslinger Friedhof in Vienna (group H row 9 grave 2). In 2018, the Robert-Parzer-Weg in Vienna- Donaustadt (22nd district) was named after him.
