Robert R. McCammon

Robert Rick McCammon (born July 17, 1952 in Birmingham , Alabama ) is an American author who helped shape the heyday of American horror literature from the late 1970s to the early 1990s.

After the appearance of Gone South followed a longer break, which ended with the appearance of Speaks the Nightbird , the first novel in the "Matthew Corbett" series.

"Michael Gallatin" series

Michael Gallatin is a British agent and werewolf . Using his ability to transform into a wolf, he fought on the Allied side against Nazi Germany during World War II .

"Matthew Corbett" series

The series about the young investigator Matthew Corbett takes place in colonial North America at the beginning of the 18th century . McCammon wanted to do something different after his break, and that's how this unusual genre mix of historical, mystery, horror and detective novels was born.
