Robert Rada

Robert Rada (born April 13, 1949 in Aalfang ; † October 28, 2016 ) was an Austrian state school inspector, politician ( SPÖ ) and member of the Austrian National Council .

education and profession

Robert Rada attended elementary school in Amaliendorf from 1955 to 1959 and then went to secondary school in Heidenreichstein until 1963 . Rada then moved to the music-pedagogical secondary school in Wiener Neustadt , which he graduated from in 1968 with the Matura . Rada then graduated from the Pedagogical Academy in Baden near Vienna between 1968 and 1970 . From 1976 he studied humanities at the University of Vienna , in 1980 he graduated with the academic degree Dr. phil. from.

After graduating from the Pedagogical Academy, Rada worked as a secondary school teacher from 1970 to 1987 and then as a district school inspector until 1994. In 1994 he was promoted to state school inspector.

politics

Rada was from 1982 to 1995 a member of the community council of the community Groß-Enzersdorf and was there from 1985 to 1995 city council. From 1996 he was district chairman of the SPÖ Gänserndorf . He represented the SPÖ from November 7, 1994 to October 27, 2008 in the National Council ( XIX. , XX. , XXI. , XXII. And XXIII. Legislative periods ). He did not run for the 2008 National Council election.
