Robert Rebele (born March 25, 1969 in Munich ) is a German figure maker and puppeteer .

Life

Rebele went freelance as a figure maker in 1990. He came to television with his first assignment and has worked exclusively for film and television ever since. In his studio, figures such as Tabaluga and Arktos for Tabaluga tivi on ZDF , Vampy, DJ and Schulz for RTL 2 , Hammermann and Keulenstein for WDR or Chili, das Schaf ( KIKA ) were created. Rebele also created many special effects make-up for films such as Rossini and Taking Sides .

Author Jan Costin Wagner saw Robert Rebele and Mark Benecke , who have known each other since working together on Post Mortem, appear on the Johannes B. Kerner talk show . This inspired him to write his novel Im Winter der Löwen , in which a forensic biologist and a puppet maker are killed after appearing on the biggest talk show in Finland. A spectator recognized his deceased relatives in the artificial corpses shown.
