Robert Saxton
Robert Saxton (* 1953 in London ) is a British composer.
Life
Saxton took private composition lessons from Elisabeth Lutyens . With Robin Holloway he then continued his studies at the University of Cambridge , and then as a master's student with Robert Sherlaw Johnson at the University of Oxford ; later he also received lessons from Luciano Berio . He was the director of the composition department at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and the Royal Academy of Music . He is currently a lecturer, fellow and tutor in music at Worcester College, Oxford . He is married to the soprano Teresa Cahill .
