Robert Smigel

Robert Smigel (born February 7, 1960 in New York City ) is an American comedian and author . He is best known for his work on the cartoon series TV Funhouse for Saturday Night Live and as a puppeteer and voice for Triumph, the Insult Comic Dog for Late Night with Conan O'Brien . He also works as a screenwriter a . a. for the series Hotel Transylvania and the film Don't mess with the mess with Adam Sandler . In the seventh episode of the second season of the US offshoot of The Masked Singer , Smigel acted as a guest judge in his role as Trumph, the Insult Comic Dog .
