Robert Walshaw (* in Lightcliffe ) is a retired British racing car driver .

Racing career

Robert Walshaw competed twice in the Le Mans 24-hour race during his racing career in the 1950s . In 1956 he registered a Jaguar XK 140 ; Teammate was Peter Bolton . Because the team did not fill up with new fuel too early in accordance with the rules, the car was disqualified after 209 laps. A year later he drove a Lotus 11 together with John Dalton and finished the race 13th overall.
