Robert Wittje (born December 9, 1852 in Wittenberg , † May 10, 1921 in Bad Tölz ) was a secret councilor and mayor of the city of Detmold .

Life

Robert Wittje was born on December 9, 1852 in Wittenberg as the son of Major Gustav Wittje. He attended until 1870, the secondary school in Magdeburg (Thomas Klein called instead the Domgymnasium Magdeburg ) and began on 17 July 1870 as an officer cadet in Magdeburg Rifle Battalion. 4 in.
