Roberto Luciano "Robertino" Pezzota (born March 10, 1983 in Rosario ) is an Argentinian squash player .

Career

Robertino Pezzota began his professional career in 2005 and has won eleven tournaments on the PSA World Tour so far . He reached his highest place in the world rankings with rank 73 in December 2018. At the Pan American Games , he won the bronze medal with the Argentine team in 2003 and 2015. In 2011 he won another bronze medal in the doubles competition with Hernán D'Arcangelo . In 2019 he secured bronze in the individual in Lima . At the Pan American Championships he won the title three times in a row in the doubles competition from 2012 to 2014. He won with Hernán D'Arcangelo in 2012 and with Leandro Romiglio in the following two years . He won the team competition with Argentina in 2012 and 2013. In 2017 he won the singles championship after beating Gonzalo Miranda in the final . With the Argentina national team , he took part in the 2011 , 2013 , 2017 and 2019 World Cup.

His brother Rodrigo Pezzota is also a professional squash player.
