Roberto Bucci

Roberto Bucci is a San Marinese politician . He was Capitano Reggente (Head of State) in 1990 and Minister for Territory of San Marino from 2000 to 2001.

Life

Roberto Bucci began his political career in the Partito Comunista Sammarinese (PCS), on whose list he was elected in 1988 to the San Marinese parliament, the Consigli Grande e Generale . From April 1 to October 1, 1990, he was elected Capitano Reggente , head of state of San Marino, together with Cesare Antonio Gasperoni . In 1990 the PCS was renamed Partito Progressista Democratico Sammarinese (PPDS). Bucci was re-elected to Parliament in 1993 on the PPDS list and in 1998 on the joint list of PPDS, Idea in Movimento and Convenzione Democratica . In the 26th cabinet , he was Minister for Territory, Environment, Agriculture and Civil Protection from 2000 to 2001 (Segretario di Stato per il Territorio, l'Ambiente, l'Agricultura e la Protezione Civile) . In 2001, the PPDS merged with the Riformisti Democratici and the Socialisti idee in Movimento to form the Partito dei Democratici (PdD). Bucci was re-elected to parliament in 2001 on the list of the PdD. and became parliamentary group chairman (Capogruppo) of the PdD. In 2005 the PdD and the Partito Socialista Sammarinese merged to form the Partito dei Socialisti e dei Democratici (PSD). Bucci ran for the PSD in the 2006 parliamentary election, but failed to make it into parliament. On February 14, 2007 he moved to the Consiglio Grande e Generale after the resignation of Alvaro Selva . In November 2017 Bucci was elected to the party executive committee (Consiglio Direttivo) of the PSD. In the following election in 2008, Bucci did not run again.
