Roberto Cartés (born September 6, 1972 in Santiago de Chile ) is a former Chilean football player who mainly played in midfield .

career

Cartes began his professional career with CD Huachipato , where he was under contract until 1998. He then moved to neighboring Argentina , where he played one season each with Argentinos Juniors and Gimnasia y Esgrima de Jujuy . In the summer of 2000 he moved to Mexico , where he played for various clubs in the second division and in the 2002/03 season for the first division club Real San Luis . At the Chilean Club de Deportes Lota Schwager he ended his active career in 2010.
