Roberto Echeverría

Roberto Echeverría ( Roberto Carlos Echeverría Boutaud ; born February 23, 1976 in Cunco , Región de la Araucanía ) is a Chilean long-distance runner .

At the 2006 World Cross Country Championships in Fukuoka, he came 84th on the short distance and 88th on the long distance. In 2007 he won the half marathon of the Santiago Marathon with the national record time of 1:04:04 h and the Maratón Santiago Oriente in 2 : 16: 05 h.

In 2008 he qualified with a victory in the Santiago Marathon for the marathon of the Olympic Games in Beijing , in which he ran in 49th place.

The following year he became the South American cross-country champion . In 2013, he finished seventh in the Santiago Marathon. At the Pan American Games in 2015 , he took part in the marathon , but did not reach the goal.
