Robin Benz (born November 7, 1995 ) is a German soccer player .

Career

After starting out as a youth at TSG Sprockhövel , he moved to the youth department at VfL Bochum in the summer of 2013 . After he had not played for the second team in his first senior season, he moved back to his home club in the Oberliga Westfalen . After two seasons in Sprockhövel, he switched to the regional league team KFC Uerdingen 05 in summer 2017 . His team finished the 2017/18 season in 1st place and won both promotion games against SV Waldhof Mannheim and thus rose to the 3rd division .

After promotion, Benz made his debut in the third division on October 6, 2018, when he was in the starting line-up in a 2-1 home win against FC Carl Zeiss Jena on matchday 11 . In the further course of the season, he represented the injured competitor and goalkeeper René Vollath in 10 consecutive league games from March 2019. In the summer of 2019 he moved to the western regional division Bonner SC .
