Robin Buffet (born October 14, 1991 ) is a French ski racer . His strengths lie in the technical disciplines of giant slalom and slalom .

biography

Buffet competed in his first European Cup race in the 2008/09 season . It took four years before he was able to place himself in the top 10 for the first time. Buffet celebrated his first victory in the European Cup on December 16, 2015 in the slalom in Obereggen . Another slalom victory followed in Val-Cenis on January 4, 2016 . He took part in the 2011 Junior World Championship in Crans-Montana , where he played no role in the battle for the medals. He achieved his best placement with 12th place in the slalom.

In the Alpine Ski World Cup , Buffet made his debut on January 24, 2012 in Schladming, where he did not qualify for the second round. He achieved his first World Cup points on December 13, 2015 with 22nd place in the slalom in Val-d'Isère . In the 2015/16 European Cup season , he won the slalom classification. He achieved his best result so far in a World Cup slalom on January 15, 2017 with 9th place in Wengen .
