Robin Davies

Robert Richard "Robin" Davies (born January 16, 1954 in Merionethshire , Wales , † February 22, 2010 in Norwich , Norfolk ) was a British film and television actor.

Life

Davies made his first appearances in films and television series at a young age. After an appearance in an episode of the children's series Six Wilds and a Crumb , he had a brief appearance in director Lindsay Anderson's If… . His best-known role was that of the 14-year-old farmer's son Harold Bennet in the first season of the television series Catweazle .

Davies remained loyal to the medium of television and appeared in the following period mainly through appearances in television series or films. His last appearance was in 1998 in the hit movie Shakespeare in Love . On February 22, 2010, he died of lung cancer.
