The Rockenburger Urwaldpfad in the Trier-Saarburg district is a dream loop on the Saar-Hunsrück-Steig .

The circular hiking trail leads from the Bescheid mill near Bescheid (Hunsrück) past the Kleine Dhron in the direction of Prosterath , on to Beuren (Hochwald) and the Beuren fisherman's hut . From there the path goes to the Rockenburg jungle and back to the Bescheider Mühle .

The path is 11.5 kilometers long, the walking time is 3 to 3.5 hours, the altitude ranges from about 270 meters to about 500 meters above sea level.

The Rockenburger Urwaldpfad has been certified as a premium trail by the German Hiking Institute .
