Rockland Township is a township in Venango County , Pennsylvania , United States . In the United States Census 2000 , 1346 people lived within the township. There is a volunteer fire brigade in the township , there is only one shop. The Indian God Rock is a boulder with petroglyphs . This is located near the village of Brandon on the Allegheny River , on its left bank.

Demographics
At the time of the 2000 United States Census, Rockland Township had 1946 people. The population density was 10.5 people per km². There were 1255 housing units at an average of 9.7 per km ². The Rockland Townships population was 98.96% White , 0.07% Black or African American , 0.07% Native American , 0% Asian , 0.30% Pacific Islander , 0% said they were racial , and 0 % , 52% named two or more races. 0.59% of the population declared to be Hispanic or Latino of any race.
