The Rocky River Bridge , officially the Detroit Avenue Bridge , was a concrete arch bridge over the Rocky River Gorge between Rocky River and Lakewood , two suburbs of Cleveland , Ohio , USA on Lake Erie , which, among other things, led US Highway 20 over the gorge.

The Rocky River Bridge was very similar to the Walnut Lane Bridge in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania , which in turn, apart from changed dimensions, is a copy of the Adolphe Bridge in Luxembourg . Their planning was carried out in the Cuyahoga County's Bridge Construction Department by AM Felgate under the direction of AB Lea. The Rocky River Bridge was the model for the 1911 Monroe Street Bridge in Spokane , Washington .

The Rocky River Bridge, built between 1908 and 1910, was the largest concrete arch bridge in the world when it was completed; its span of 85.3 m exceeded that of the Walnut Lane Bridge opened in 1908 by 14.3 m. However, this record was already exceeded in the following year by the 1  foot taller Monroe Street Bridge and by the Ponte del Risorgimento in Rome with a span of 100 m.

The 215 m long bridge crossed the valley cut with a large double arch with a span of 85.3 m at a height of 25 m above the watercourse. The two 5.5 m wide concrete arches were created without joints and made of unreinforced concrete. The arrow height of the double arch was 24.4 m. On both sides of these double arches there were 4 riser arches, each 6.4 m wide, to support the bridge plate. The double arches are framed on both sides by strong pillars and a total of 5 double arches over the slopes of the valley, each with a span of 13.4 m. The bridge slab was 18.4 m wide and originally divided into a 12.20 m wide carriageway for four lanes (including two tram tracks) and 2.4 m wide sidewalks.

The Rocky River Bridge was demolished in 1980 and replaced by a steel girder bridge with five lanes and a narrow walkway on both sides.
